Get ready, music lovers! Annapolis-based trio, Pressing Strings, is kicking up a storm with their new single “Your Love,” a powerful blend of folk, blues, rock, funk, soul, and reggae. The song, which celebrates love, music, and enduring friendship in challenging times, is a taste of their highly anticipated album, …And I For You, set to release on July 14th on Evil Teen Records. Listen to “Your Love” here.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Jordan Sokel shares, “‘Your Love’ is a song that celebrates the positive things and people that we cling to when times get rough and uncertain.” The sentiment is echoed in the upcoming album, which features 11 songs of gratitude, devotion, and wisdom. This is the first Pressing Strings record where all members share the singing and contribute to the harmonies, adding a new depth and richness to their sound. Pre-order/Pre-save …And I For You here.

Since their formation in 2006, Pressing Strings, featuring Sokel, Nick Welker (Bass, Vocals), and Justin Kruger (Drums, Vocals), has built a robust repertoire, playing at headlining venues across Maryland and Washington, DC, and making regular appearances at notable festivals. They’ve opened for big names like The Beach Boys, Gov’t Mule, and Toad the Wet Sprocket, and their music has topped charts on national AAA and public broadcasters across the U.S.

With the release of …And I For You, Pressing Strings is embarking on a series of headlining shows and performances supporting Toad The Wet Sprocket on the east coast.
