A Night with Kevin Gates at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena

LIVE MUSIC REVIEW

Last night, December 8th, 2023, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena was absolutely lit, thanks to Kevin Gates and his Only The Generals Tour. This was a wild ride, a no-holds-barred party that only Gates could throw.

Kevin Gates, the man who’s been ruling the rap game with his no-holds-barred style, brought his A-game to Nashville. He’s not just any rapper; he’s a trendsetter, a straight shooter who’s been owning the scene with his raw lyrics and killer beats. The guy’s got a knack for making hits that stick – like how “Thinking With My Dick” blew up the charts and took over TikTok.

Right from the start, the vibe was intense. The arena was buzzing  and that unmistakable scent of weed hitting you smack in the face  set the tone for a night of unfiltered fun. The crowd was a spectacle in itself – girls in skimpy mini skirts, flaunting every curve, and guys totally into the scene, ready to rap along with Gates.

Onstage, Kevin Gates was a force. He owned every inch of that space, his raw energy just pulling you in. The guy’s got this unapologetic presence that’s all about real, gritty rap. His dancers added this extra sizzle to the show, turning up the heat with every move.

Gates’ setlist was a badass mix of his killer tracks. From “Scars” to “Love Bug,”  “ Satellites” each song had the crowd going nuts. When “Thinking With My Dick” came on, the whole place just erupted. It was wild, everyone singing at the top of their lungs, completely lost in the music

.

BigXthaPlug and DJ Chose weren’t just opening acts; they were part of the hype, getting the crowd all revved up for Gates. They set the stage on fire, each in their own way, and by the time Gates hit the stage, the crowd was already at a fever pitch.

This tour, man, it’s something else. It’s not just about promoting Gates’ music; it’s about experiencing it in the rawest, most intense way possible. If you haven’t seen Kevin Gates live, you’re missing out on a hell of a show. It’s not just a concert; it’s a party where the music hits hard, the crowd goes wild, and the night feels like it could go on forever.

So, if you’re up for a night of hardcore rap, insane energy, and a vibe that’s just out of this world, get yourself to one of Gates’ shows. It’s more than worth it – it’s a night you’ll never forget
