Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion Tour Shines at Nissan Stadium, Nashville

LIVE MUSIC REVIEW

Post Malone brings his F-1 Trillion Tour to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, delivering an unforgettable night.

The F-1 Trillion Tour is Post Malone’s bold leap into country music, blending the genre’s heart and soul with his signature sound. Touring in support of his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion, Post is bringing his genre-blurring artistry to stages across the U.S., and on October 19, 2024, he hit Nissan Stadium in Nashville with one of the most memorable performances of his career. With guest appearances on his latest album from country legends like Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, and Dolly Parton, Post Malone is redefining what it means to be a crossover artist. After topping the Billboard 200 and UK Albums Charts, his shift into country music has been embraced by fans and critics alike.

Post Malone, born Austin Richard Post in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Texas, has become one of the most influential figures in modern music. His ability to blend genres like hip-hop, rock, and now country, has cemented his place as a global superstar. With countless hits, numerous awards, and a raw connection to fans, Post continues to dominate charts and concert venues worldwide. His latest album, F-1 Trillion, showcases his storytelling talent, covering themes of heartbreak, hope, and everything in between.

The night in Nashville buzzed with anticipation despite the chilly weather. Road closures made getting to Nissan Stadium feel like an eternity, but the excitement in the air was undeniable. Positioned by the soundboard, I noticed a commotion—comedian Theo Von was in the crowd, taking selfies with fans, adding an extra spark to the evening. As the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted.

With fireworks lighting up the sky and the stadium alive with excitement, Post appeared in his usual laid-back fashion—barefoot, jeans, and a gray t-shirt, his Crocs resting by the microphone. It’s this unpretentious, down-to-earth vibe that makes Post so beloved by his fans. The stage was simple but effective, with massive screens ensuring everyone had a great view. The pyrotechnics added to the overall production, creating an atmosphere that felt larger than life.

Post took a moment after his opening song to take in the crowd. This was his first-ever football stadium show, and you could see how much it meant to him. His voice cracked with emotion as he thanked everyone for showing up, and his genuine gratitude set the tone for the rest of the night. In less than 10 minutes, it was obvious why Post Malone continues to dominate the music scene. He radiates authenticity, humility, and a sense of humor that makes his performances feel personal.

One of the most touching moments was when Post invited Wynter, a young fan from Tampa he had gifted a guitar to last year, to join him on stage for “Stay”. Watching them perform together was heartwarming, and the crowd showed their love for the moment. His generosity and ability to connect with his audience were on full display, especially when he introduced his band with his usual charm, cracking jokes and keeping the crowd laughing throughout the night, it was his bass player’s birthday, and Post led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday, joking that the man was 400 years old. Moments like these show the lighter,  playful side of Post Malone, which endears him even more to his fans.

The performance of “I Fall Apart” was one of the night’s most emotional highlights. The stadium lit up with cell phone lights as Post poured everything into the song. Even the moon seemed to join in on the magic, hanging low and glowing red in the Nashville sky. It was a powerful and unforgettable moment.

Fans who stuck around were treated to a surprise appearance by Blake Shelton, who joined Post for “Pour Me a Drink”. The energy soared as two musical giants shared the stage, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Post Malone’s humility, humor, and unmatched stage presence make it easy to see why he continues to sell out venues across the country.

This was a celebration of Post Malone’s journey, his artistry, and his connection to his fans. From rock to country to pop, Post delivers it all with heart, making the F-1 Trillion Tour a must-see event. I can’t wait to see what he does next, but one thing’s for sure: if you have the chance to catch him live, don’t miss it.
