A perfect soundtrack for the Indian-Summer-to-Fall transition, From Earth truly offers something for every listener and every mood. From the chill, blues-influenced White Room (track 1), to the upbeat alt-rock Panic Switch (track 3), each unique lyrical concept is conveyed through lead vocalist Peyton Smith’s warm, commanding vocals. About Say Kids: Say Kids, comprised of members Peyton Smith, William Cheatham, Matt Gay and Oliver Finch, sonically blends into a mixture of rock, psychedelia, funk and blues. “Our music is like punting through a Candyland game board,” says frontman Smith. “It’s very fierce but happy. Lots of twists and turns.” The band started in early 2018 when Peyton moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Nashville where he met William while attending Belmont University. The pair immediately found an amazing musical chemistry between them. Later in the year, the two found drummer Matt Gay and bassist Oliver Finch, both who had just moved to Nashville from Los Angeles to pursue the same musical dreams as Peyton and Will. The four combined their talents together and came up with 12 original tracks, 6 of which are on their brand new EP From Earth, released September 27, 2019.
