On May 22, Hairball hit Brooklyn Bowl Nashville for the first time—and they blew the roof off.
The place was packed with stadium-level energy, but in an intimate room that made every moment feel close, loud, and electric. I sang every song. I felt the force of the band all night. This wasn’t a nostalgia act; this was a two-hour, high-voltage rock party that hit hard from start to finish.
They gave us everything: full makeup, wild costume changes, smoking lights, visuals, pyro, nonstop crowd interaction. And my favorite moment? Their KISS set.
I’ve never seen KISS live, and honestly, I never thought I wanted to. How wrong was I? That performance alone was worth the ticket.
The Setlist That Rocked Nashville
They cranked through a killer lineup:
-
Mötley Crüe
-
KISS (“Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud”)
-
Journey
-
Def Leppard (“Photograph,” “Rock of Ages”)
-
Twisted Sister
-
Ozzy Osbourne
-
Queen (“Bohemian Rhapsody,” anyone?)
-
AC/DC (“Thunderstruck,” “You Shook Me All Night Long”)
-
And a full drum solo + encore
Every song landed with the kind of punch that made you forget you were watching a tribute—they felt like the real deal.
This band gives you bang for your buck—pure and simple. Over two hours of nonstop energy, iconic hits, and a party vibe that doesn’t let up.
It was their first Nashville stop, and I seriously hope they make us a regular tour stop. If you grew up on this music—or even if you didn’t—you’ll get your money’s worth and then some.
