HEAT OF PASSION: Journey Releases Their Sensuous New Album “Freedom”

For those who feel like the weight of the world is on their shoulders, the veteran arena rock band out of San Francisco, California named Journey feels the same sentiments that we all du during this time of uncertainty. However, rather than wallow in seif pity this legendary arena rock band released their passionate album “Freedom” which was released on July 8, 2022 featuring fifteen heart pounding tracks that will make the hair stand up on the back of one’s neck.
The heat of passion begins with the explosive track “Together We Run.” This track features soulful vocals and blistering arena rock melodies that sound like a volcano has erupted spewing hot lava everywhere. This track is a riveting tale about a determined group of people who truly want to be in a rock band even though they are facing a lot of back-lash for wanting to be in the entertainment business rather than choosing what is viewed as a respectable nine to five desk job. These determined group of people are driven to pursue their dream because they realize that life is too short to be unhappy. Meanwhile, the fury of passion continues to grow as the burning desire of romance engulfs a man in the sultry track “You Got the Best of Me.” This track features gritty vocals and sizzling arena rock melodies that sound like a huge bonfire is burning brightly on a tropical island while a loving couple is enjoying each other’s company. This track is a sensuous tale about a once lonely man who has suddenly fallen deeply in love with a beautiful woman. Therefore, the once lonely man is not lonely anymore. So, he is telling the beautiful woman to come and get him because he is ready for romance.
Finally, the heat of passion slowly turns into a feeling of overwhelming anxiety racing through a troubled man’s mind in the heart wrenching track “Let it Rain.” This track features moaning vocals and thunderous arena rock melodies that sound like a severe thunderstorm is ripping through a small working-class town. This track is a frustrating tale about a calm man who has become troubled by the endless insanity that has consumed his daily life. When the troubled man attempts to behave responsibly those individuals who are in positions of authority stomp on his ideas making him feel like an outcast in society. So, the troubled man would rather feel the cool, driving rain rather than the feeling of being “raked over the coals.”
Journey is an amazing arena rock band who can still pack a punch with searing vocal ranges and their sharp, blistering arena rock melodies which they have become famous for.
