Nashville’s Eastside Bowl was the setting for the John Mailander’s Forecast’s release of their newest album Let the World In. The duo Paper Wings (Emily Mann and Wila Frank) opened the night with original songs highlighting their tight harmony. Kyle Tuttle Band followed, playing a mix of Tuttle’s originals and such covers as Robert Earl Keen’s “Feeling Good Again” and Jerry Garcia’s “Brothers and Sisters,” and John Hartford’s “Gentle on My Mind,” that suit Tuttle’s versatility and high-energy jam grass style. With brothers Dominic and Sam Leslie on mandolin and guitar and Dominic Davis on bass, Tuttle was also joined by Mailander before his own set. Wilo Frank and Lindsay Lou also provided harmony on “Dom’t Let Go.”
