Bridgestone Arena | August 19, 2025
Katy Perry turned Bridgestone Arena into a kaleidoscope of color and sound on August 19th, bringing her Lifetimes Tour to Nashville for a night packed with spectacle, humor, and heartfelt moments.
The night kicked off with Rebecca Black, who set the tone with a fun, high-energy set of dance-pop anthems that had the crowd on their feet early. Her confidence and playful stage presence were the perfect lead-in to Perry’s larger-than-life production.
From the very first notes of “Artificial”, the show unfolded like a pop-theater production—lavish sets, dazzling costumes, and larger-than-life visuals that felt tailor-made for a city that thrives on big performances. Yet amid the grand scale, Perry made the evening feel surprisingly personal. Whether joking with the crowd, sharing stories between songs, or letting fans choose a couple of deep cuts through a live vote, she managed to shrink the arena into something that felt intimate.
The setlist wove through her biggest hits—“Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Dark Horse,” and of course “Firework”—while also making room for new material and fan-favorites that don’t always make the cut. One of the most special moments of the night came when Nashville fans picked “Not Like the Movies” during the interactive segment; Perry delivered it with raw emotion, reminding everyone that beyond the pop glitter, there’s real heart in her music.
As confetti butterflies rained down during the finale, it was clear this wasn’t just a concert—it was a celebration of joy, resilience, and a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously. Perry leaned into camp, color, and charisma, and Nashville loved every second of it.
