Johnny Giles – Photographer

Johnny shot his first concert in 2008. Just happened to be walking by a music venue (12th & Porter) in downtown Nashville with his camera. He went inside and ask if he could shoot the band. Thats when it began. After covering hundreds of bands he started his own music magazine.

He loves his wife, the beach, whiskey, kayaking and motorcycles.

Alma Reed – Photographer/Editor/Writer

Alma is a passionate music photographer whose journey into the world of live music imagery began in the mountainous serenity of Jinotega, Nicaragua. Growing up, Alma was captivated by the dynamic world of live music performances, a fascination that was fueled by meticulously cutting out and collecting magazine and newspaper photographs of artists and bands from across the globe. Her childhood walls were adorned with the golden mists of Lyn’s photography and the vivid captures by Anne Lenovitz, featuring legendary acts like The Rolling Stones and many more. Deprived of the live music experience in her hometown, Alma spent countless hours watching DVDs of her favorite performers, dreaming of the day she could be amidst the crowd, camera in hand, capturing those iconic moments herself.

The move to Nashville, Tennessee, was a turning point for Alma. Immersed in the city’s vibrant honky-tonk scene, she seized the opportunity to photograph every band and live act she encountered, turning her lifelong dream into a tangible reality. Today, Alma’s work is driven by her undying passion for music and her commitment to spotlighting musicians through her lens. Each of her photographs is a testament to her journey from a dream-filled room in Nicaragua to the bustling live music venues of Nashville. Alma Reed continues to chase her dream, one iconic image at a time, aiming to illuminate the essence of every musician she photographs.
