DEXTER AND THE MOONROCKS IN CHATTANOOGA

The rescheduled Dexter and the Moonrocks show at The Signal in Chattanooga on May 15, 2026 proved the band was well worth the wait. The packed room buzzed with anticipation, and from the first notes it was clear the crowd hadn’t forgotten about the postponed date—they were ready to make up for lost time.

Frontman James Tuffs commanded the stage with gritty vocals and an offbeat bit of flair: a necklace made of prescription bottles that quickly became a conversation piece in the crowd. Drummer Ryan Fox also donned a risqué shirt and played behind an F-bomb drum kit that the crowd absolutely loved. The band powered through a tight, high-energy set, balancing raw riffs with playful moments of banter.

At one point, Tuffs teased the opening of “Free Bird,” drawing loud cheers and laughter before swerving back into their own material. Other notable moments included a fan moshing in full Where’s Waldo attire, acoustic highlights from Donkey Flats, and the crowd belting along to “Ritalin” and “Freakin Out.”

By the end of the night, the rescheduled stop felt less like a makeup date and more like a special, one-night-only moment between the band and a Chattanooga audience that was clearly stoked they came back.
