SYCAMORE PLAYS @ THE END

On Saturday, July 20th, local Nashville natives Isaac Finley, Anthony Kiriazes and Bo Marshall performed as their rock trio: Sycamore. They opened up Desk Job’s first show at The End, along with other local bands: Dirty Ginger and Mulligan’s Match (originally from Oklahoma City). Before Sycamore could even get five seconds into their set, the audience was already hooked on the classic rock tonality combined with the band’s palpable energy. The breakdowns made the set impossible to ignore; while their ability to seamlessly fluctuate tempos throughout a single song, constantly kept the audience (dancing) on their toes. The Nirvana resemblance found its way into aspects of their set: the guitar was full of emotion, the vocals were fully projected with raspy textures, and they had some truly beautiful and intricate drum fills. These similarities can be heard in Sycamore’s new song titled, “Night Owl”, which will be released on August 9th, along with their EP “The Halogen EP”.
In the meantime, go stream their two singles on Spotify: “Groove Master” and “You Got a Thing”.
You can catch their next local show at Rocketown on August 9th for the EP release!
