Tank and the Bangas Got the Juice!

NPR’s 2017 Tiny desk winner Tank and The Bangas brought their Stolen Fruit tour to Nashville, TN on March 25th. The tour kicked off in March 9th in St. Louis, MO and wraps up on August 30th in London, UK.

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville was the hottest place in town on March 25th. Tank and The Bangas was there and their opening act was the Grammy Nominated multi-instrumentalist Henry Cory.

4 full parking garages tells you that these 2 acts are well known and loved in Nashville. It took me 30 minutes to find a spot and sadly missed the first part of Henry’s act. When I entered the venue I was welcomed by a wave of heat that made me hit the bar right away. The place was packed and people all over were dancing, laughing and singing.

Tank and The Bangas puts on one heck of a show. With a powerful horn section and front woman extraordinaire Tarriona Ball. Poetry, social activism, self love, soul, rap and funk. All in one, all at once! Truly a one-of-a-kind show. The best kind of show to unwind and let yourself dance the night away.
