SECOND ANNUAL MUSCLE SHOALS SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL SLATED FOR NOV. 5-6

The 2nd annual Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5-6, in the “Hit Recording Capital of the World,” Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Lillian Glanton, owner and founder of the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival, said, “I have two passions: songwriting and Muscle Shoals music. To bring these two things together will be a one- of-a kind experience for music lovers like no other.”

The festival will feature more than 90 songwriters at eight venues across Muscle Shoals, including the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, FAME Recording Studios, Flobama, Singin’ River LIVE, Ole Grace, High Ridge Distillery, UNA on Sixth and the Marriott Ballroom.

“We are going all out this year, from the amazing venues to a large number of Grammy Award-winning hit songwriters and sponsors from all over the world,” said Glanton. “The thing that makes this festival so unique is that we are featuring award-winning and up-and-coming songwriters of all genres of music including traditional country, pop country, Americana, pop, soul and more. It’s a cultural phenomenon bringing all types of people together through music and the celebration of Muscle Shoals Music History.”

Tickets for the event, presented by Marriott Shoals, are on sale and more information is available at www.mssongfest.com
