THE CRITICALS 7/6/22 AT EXIT/IN

The Criticals are undoubtedly one of Nashville’s most beloved rock bands.

July 6th at the Exit/In the band celebrated with a full house the kick-off of their upcoming nationwide tour.

It was almost impossible to move around the venue. A mosh pit formed by the fifth song and I almost lost an eye.

The band performed all of their hits and then some. They started the night with “I Used To Be Good-Looking.” The song set the tone for the rest of the night; high energy from beginning to end.

The hippest band in Nashville is sure to win many new hearts on their upcoming tour. They have the perfect combination of vintage look and timeless sound. Every time I see them live I feel as if I have been transported to the late 60s and 70s. They captivate the young who yearn for the golden years of music and the old who are taken back to the genesis of rock and roll.

It’s been said that no one is a prophet in their land. But that does not apply to this band. If they play in Nashville they are playing to a full house of adoring fans.
